Thank you for sharing Redjasper. I see the meadow...it is cold and silent. Yet, craving the warmth of the spring and the return of it's emotions. Kind of like that lonely emotion that can fill one's heart, and that silent yearning to return to a happier place in time. When love could make everything seem perfect, even when it is not.
This is one large family of fans conneceted by many forums. You will find that everyone at the different site's are open and love to share creative work. I am glad that you have found places to explore here at the org that you are posting at. The threads are all unique and fun.

Don't worry. Enjoy the creativity that is inside you and then the energy will build and you will create once more.

I agree. It is more than just being fans...it is about the friendships that we have all made through the music. The support that we freely give the band, is our dedication to the creative spirit of music. Moreover, it is our dedication to a bunch of great guys that are working so hard and deserve to make it big in the music world. Lh is a great band.

I have lived an array of emotions over my years...this just happened to have been one. I reflect on another place and another time.
Broken Friendship
Enter the darkness... Of my darkened soul.
Once filled with light, Now completely washed over in a endless chasm of torment, For all of your deceit.
You lied to me.
Hide away your true emotions.
Made me believe that we could live in honesty... What does your friendship mean?
Why does it feel like you only had a vendetta on me, That you just wanted to settle a score?
Nothing.
Not even a shred left of hope or devotion.
I broke, For I couldn't believe that this pain was caused by you.
I cried, So hard I couldn't breath.
Couldn't believe how hard I fell... I thought I could trust you.
My trust in you has somehow died.
Strange how everything changed, Once I realized you lied.
You turned my dreams into a empty well.
I now hold my pain deep inside.
Wait and wonder, To see who will come through.
For what you told me, That pure spirit you claim, I can now see is not even slightly true.
So here I stand.
In my darkened soul... I have no worries, I have dwelt in the darkness so many times before.
I just wait.
I watch.
I try not to care.
For I will find my way out, Long before you break me into another sea of despair.

Random thought...
Children Call Out
Children call out to your hearts... Feel the music let it take control.
I remember a thousand times when I was left so alone.
Now I can only feel you.
You hold me in a trance, I have lost all my control.
I will run away... Let the rhythm of the drums take me away.
See the stars flashing in the sky, As the melody takes me into the night's sky.
Passion filled hearts, That passion is for life.
We are all caged creature's longing to take flight.
I can only hear my heart.
I see you standing there.
The world is a stage, And I don't even care.
Free to run faster.
I will no longer hide in disrepair.
Life is a banquet... And I am going to take my share.
I follow the note's... They drift softly away.
I can hear then change louder.
I feel like I am free from my cage.
I will make my own music, Forget the past pain.
You set me free from that trace.
I can now be me.
I thank you for a moment, You have helped me be free.
The music is magic, I can feel it in my core.
I no longer am darkened, The brightest vision of life is now clearly here.

Another random thought:
When I See
Tears fall.
You stare.
I die.
You don't care.
Time stops.
I wait.
You turn and walk away.
Memories are recalled from our past.
Nothing makes sense... Why did I choose this life path.
Fall lower.
High in the sky.
Break down.
Reason?
Too many lies.
You laugh.
My rain..
Blood tears.
Acid pain.
When I see, I was so blind for all these years.
The clock chimes.
The moment has passed.
I am alone in silence.
You are alone on a new path.

I will try to post something else tonight. Sorry I am distracted.
My Mom just brought back my son from a day trip with her. He was sad and I was trying to type and comfort him at the same time. Then his balloon animal of a 'hummingbird 'went 'pop'...so I had to find another balloon to make him a new body for it.
*note: Yes, I did say I make animals out of balloons. I just learned and can only make a few things. My son likes them and since I am at home a lot, I decided to learn something fun for him as entertainment. If you want me to make a poodle then that is easy animal for me...however, my snake is the best. LMAO
I learn so many strange things...Jack of all trades...master of none.~sigh~

Hi Star,
I'm amazed at your random thoughts - they flow so well. Like spontaneous dance moves. I'm going to be brave and test the scary thought... can I be spontaneous?
Spontaneous
Can I be spontaneous, like a twitching eye, like a hitching sigh.
Is it wise?
Can I be spectacular, like a brilliant star, like a jagged scar.
Are these lies?
Where is my next moment, how will I catch it?
And if I don't... ... will there be another?
That was quite amazing! Thanks for inspiring me to try this!!

Here's a bit of sunshine for ya: Butterflies & Melodies _________________ Bursts of bluebonnets gave the Texas landscape a deep blue glow to it. A young women cascaded her bare feet through the tall fields of golden sunflowers and the day opened it's eyes. Her eyes of green gave her aura a jolt of peace and love. As she gazed down the road ahead of her...she saw a snowy white cat playing with the leaves swirling in the spring breeze. Suddenly she could hear music flowing down through the trees and up high on a branch....she saw young guy with gypsy eyes of contentment. As he strummed his amber red guitar...he glanced up and a smile broke across his face as wide as the Mississippi River. He spoke hello with eyes of steel blue and invited the green eyed angel to sit with him. As the day wore on the harmony of his music left the earth a brighter place to exist. An existence of heart and soul...of true happiness. __________________________________________- peace...Sunflower Gypsy(Shawna)

Star, I don't know what you'll think of this next poem. It was rather a spontaneous effort - in a quirky way. After having read a couple of my 'heavy' poems ('Hot Moth' and 'March Meadow' plus a third one I haven't posted yet), I commented to our writing workshop group that all of my poems were quite dark and almost depressing. My writing instructor quipped, "Okay, so write a poem about happiness!" When I got home that night, a poem popped into my head - within about 10 seconds it was fully formed. An experiment, for sure. I liked the feel of doing it. I've written a few more. I'd love to have a collection published - I'd call it simply '10 second poetry'. I have one rule... no more than 2-3 minutes of alterations. Unrealistic maybe, but an interesting challenge.
10 Seconds to Happiness
I’m smiling. Look at me.
It’s killing me.
I can’t get this smile off my face. It’s just like my mother warned me.
Except I thought she was talking about frowns.
So, it might stay this way.
Someone else once told me, work with it. Oh joy.

RJ,
LOL...I just think to much. That happends when you spend enough time home, alone and bored...except for my son when he let's me play with him and his toys. He is almost 4 now and he says I 'play like a girl' so he doesn't let me play Hotwheels anymore. I can't help it...I am a girl. I run like a girl. Scream like a girl. I am a girl..LOL
I love the Spontaneous work. You are getting to be really good at this! And you are right...it is like a dance. You are doing a great job following the beat of the music!
I just saw the next post so I am adding to this.
That one is great too!!! I hope you are having fun expressing yourself. I always find such freedom in writing poetry. More than even my writing of stories. I guess it is my safety blanket in times of emotional overload.

I don't know about you, but I've been high as a kite since then. I really think it let me break through into a little bit of freeform poetry writing. Well that and some inspiration from Starcrossed, of course! Sorry, I jumped on this reply so quickly - I didn't read your poem. Let me go back and do that...
