For House of Blues Show, we suggest you get yours ASAP because shows at HOB sell out well in advance....
*NOTE* If you are coming in from out of town, this is the CD RELEASE WEEKEND, so there will be events all weekend - plan to stay till Monday!

There are three presales going on.
1) HOB members only through livenation
2) ticketrush through livenation
3) Lh CD VIP presale through ticketmaster
Tickets will be available to general public on 3/13/09
at ticketmaster.

Yes, it's great that people are getting their tickets. i am pretty positive this will be a sell out.....hopefully there are flyers and other promotional items for this event to be passed around on my space/facebook!

It's over 1/2 sold out, so I would advice not dilly dallying on deciding whether to go or not!! Order tickets today!!

I ordered my tickets too!!! Yeah!!
However, I have 3 extra soooo if anyone needs tickets, please message me and I'll send them out to you right away. (I'll be saving you the 2.50 processing fee...whoopee!! LOL!!)
Looking so forward to the "Let Me Out" cd release SHOW!! It's gonna be alot of fun ~

Everyone who is going, scream and yell for me! Janell Janell, if you really want to go, I have been seeing some very good prices on airfare. Many times fans arrange to room together to save on hotel costs, or another possibility is to stay out by O'Hare airport (cheaper hotel rates there) and take the commuter train in to the city. The Blue Line runs between O'Hare and downtown, and runs 24 hours a day. Chicago really IS the city that never sleeps! So if you can swing the airfare and hotel, come to the show!!! So far I know of people coming from Florida, California, Wisconsin, Washington State, New Jersey, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, and Missouri. This isn't the first time these folks have made the trip, either.    A great part of the experience has been making these friends from all around the country, as well as from other countries, and getting together with them at shows, the afterparties, etc. We are always excited to welcome new fans to the fold, and if you tell people at the show that it's your first time seeing the band, people will try to get you closer to the front. (The frequently-used term for a first-timer is "Hammervirgin".) ;D We'd love to see you there!!!  |

We will be getting together at Portillo's several times during the long weekend. I would love to make it back to Ginos East, or Giordanos or whatever it was called. That place was mmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm GOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
I am making Marty's fave steak from Wildfire Steakhouse tonight.

Yeah....
Janell......you might check out the LH website....there was some good advice for using priceline (how to really manipulate it) to get good rooms for around $100 per night. And there are a couple people looking for roomies.
Chelsea and Isa, I'm so glad we'll finally be able to meet. As I will be meeting many of you hammerheads for the 1st time!
Hubby is coming with me.....please help me remember to introduce him to Marty this time Nancy! ;-)
Swillis....we are bringing our little ones to Chicago with us.....they are only 3 & 5 though so they'll be staying at the hotel for the HOB show with one of our friends. Going to make a family vacation out of it during the day and get hammered as much as I can at night! Mostly Navy Pier, American Girl, Millenium Park and Oak Street Beach and maybe the zoo. I'm hoping maybe they'll do something acoustic all ages so my little ones who love them can check them out. My 3 year old is OBSESSED with Trees...honest to god it is so cute to hear her sing "combination for disaster" while my 5 year old loves Just Go and Low-life Insurance (not sure how I feel about that) and of course they both love Skinny White Guitar Player!

I'm so excited for you all! This looks like it's shaping up to be one of the best HammerWeekends ever. I'm getting a big fat tax return in a couple of weeks and it is taking *everything* in me not to go ahead in book. Silly common sense  I know you can't have cameras at the HOB..but you all better sneak in some pics for those of us that will be lusting away |

That is the stupidest rule EVah! no cameras, I remember at Hammerfest I left my camera at the hotel because I heard about the "rule" and I get inside the HOB and everyone and their mother had 'crotched" their cameras..

Jupiter Jane- That sounds like a blast for all involved. Our oldest will be away at camp-we pick him up in the Champaign/Urbana area on Sunday. Our two littlest will be having a grandparents weekend. I am, however, bringing their t-shirts down for a re-sign since I accidentally washed their signatures away after the Burr Ridge show! Really looking forward to meeting other fans-this will be our first LH show! |
