Begin posting here once the reality episode is online! Please post here when you see the Reality episode online so others can watch. Realty episode 3 is up and I have to say it was interesting. Watch it when you have the time. It's interesting that there is more than one JD-like rocker this year! They're not shy about confrontations and actually seem to enjoy them. Looking forward to the performance show tomorrow night, especially with respect to Toby, Patrice, and Dilana (I have to say I'm changing my opinion of her after seeing her in the reality eps).

Interesting dynamic between the rockers in the song selection. I think we are going to see a lot more fighting this year. Many seem to have less talent than the last cast so the fight for songs is all the more crucial.
I'm sorry there was not more Phil for you, Penny.

These rockers need to get a clue and figure out an organized way to distribute the songs. Last year's bunch had a good system that seemed to work with only the occasional battle. They would each write their names on the top corner of the songs for 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices. Then try to figure out the fairest way to dole them out.
This grab and run and then fuss & fight stuff wastes alot of valuable time and energy.

They really had some great songs to choose from. I can't wait to see them perform... Helter Skelter... Let's Spend The Night Together... Soul Boy Josh singing Come As You Are... should be interesting.
Everyone is jumping on the bad boy bandwagon to stand out, it seems...

Hey, who's the guitar player during the voice clinic. He so reminds me of someone? Could it be?

This grab and run and then fuss & fight stuff wastes alot of valuable time and energy. Yah, I think Josh is lucky that he didn’t wake the next morning to find his head shaved. I mean, you do have to continue to live with these people... (But I also think that Jill was being a bit of a drama queen about it.)

Hey, who's the guitar player during the voice clinic. He so reminds me of someone? Could it be? Who are you thinking of need? Anyone else feel like they were watching 5 year olds fighting over stuff and then packing up their toys (songs) to go home? I was waiting for Cartman to come out and say "Scr*w you guys..I'm going home!"

Hey, who's the guitar player during the voice clinic. He so reminds me of someone? Could it be? I thought so too. On first glance, he looks a lot like Billy, but the nose is too long and the hair is too light in color.

I can't imagine Billy playing in the clinic, but they guy sure does look like him.
I also can't believe how different this year's crop is from last year's ... they can't even be civilized in how they do their song selection. I though Josh was an okay guy until he pulled that nonsense about grabbing Come As You Are and then walking out of the room. What bunch of babies they are!

There is a similarity there.

Just seems like the first group bonded right away and seemed to have a more positive energy right away......even the "Suzy nodes Incident"

I thought most of the rockers gave a better performance tonight. The one that I thought had the stronger voice of them all was Magni. Luka's has a good stage presence but you can't understand a word he sings. The guys loved Dilana and she actually sounded alot better this time. But best voice quality, IMO, was Magni.

I agree with Rockfan, tonight's performances were overall MUCH better than either of the previous week's... Since I got a chance to meet Patrice, Lukas, Toby, & Phil, I was of course paying extra attention to them. I loved Patrice with Helter Skelter. I wasn't sure about it at all when she picked it & had the thing with Jill but I thought she rocked it. My fave performance of her's so far! Josh - I actually liked the fact that he stopped the jaw-thing, but I thought he sounded nasally & was kind of boring. He does have a nice voice but not his best performance for me. Storm - still doing those eye popping Ozzy looks, & I wasn't into the mic-humping (reminding me of ____ licking it) I like her voice, but something's missing. Maybe I should check 'google'. LOL I really liked Lukas' rendition of Let's Spend the Night Together - I wasn't sure, because I usually agree with the house band. But there were points that I couldn't make out the fuzzy words...but then again, can you usually with rock bands?? I like how he always matches his eyeshadow to his outfits. hee hee. I think I'm pulling up a barstool with Gilby & TLee. Jill - I love her voice, but tonight's was not my fave. I liked her in the clinic. I thought she was boring at first but did step it up at the end. Ryan - he's got to go soon. He looks constipated & in pain. Funny how he had to put on a fake smile to show he has teeth. He does not have a bad voice, but I agree with Gilby about wondering if he is even enjoying himself. Although I thought this was his best vocal, he's just a stick in the mud dressed like an auto mechanic. Phil - NOT biased! LOL but this was his best vocal for me. I love his intensity. I did laugh because I realized what his rubber swagger reminded me of - that toy that's a character on a little platform with a button to push, & when you push it the character falls limp, then you let off the button & it goes back up. What the hell are those things called? LOL Magni - fine, Rockfan, he was OK tonight. It was his best vocal for me. I still think he's kinda posing. I thought the glasses looked retarded tho, but it was probably for the best because I think it's his eyes that bug me the most. I don't trust them. sigh...as if that matters... lol Dilana - well I liked this performance the best. Love that song by the Cranberries. I like her vulnerability in the reality show - but I just wonder how she will handle it on the road...so up & down. She did the tongue thing AGAIN. Ewwww. I think she needs to change up her look - altho it fits, it's getting old. Zayra - STILL has to go. Performance wise, she was not the worst this week & did sound OK. Still don't know how she made THIS show. Nice lighting through her silver dress tho. She did not seem confident at all when she was about to go on. & I thought she channeled Bjork again... Dana - bottom 3. WHY is she on this show either? It's such a dress up game. I'm reminded of that chicken little guy on the last AI. She has a nice voice, but so not for this band. I didn't like how she slowed down her Bon Jovi song. Toby - yummy. But not my fave vocal for him. It seemed too guarded, but I appreciate he was trying to show an emotional side. I don't think it's really what the guys want in the end...rock ballads are more animated than Toby was tonight. Poor Dave was sleeping! lol But holy cow Toby has dreamy eyes... Jenny - She has a really nice indie solo act voice. It's too soft, & I LOVE that song by Incubus. There's just no umph in it when she sings. She's not suited for SN at ALL. Bottom 3 choices - Dana, Jenny, Ryan. Zayra must go, but I have a feeling her performance this week will keep her in. I think Dilana or Lukas will get the encore...

I agree that the performers were generally better this week than last week. I still didn't like Zayra. I think Jenny and Dana should go as well as Ryan.
I enjoyed Patrice's performance a lot and I think the band likes her. She's one of the few legit rock-n-roll chicks there. Jill was better, Storm was better. Dilana was better. Not as scary.
Josh is not roit for the band. Phil wasn't bad this week but was anyone else disturbed by Jason? First he RAMS into Phil while he's performing and almost knocks the guy over...then he's following him all over the stage....then he's screaming like a lunatic to Gilby about how he did (the first time was funny...the fifth time was not). You can tell he is from a metal band.
Overall, I think despite all my criticism, I'm hooked again. I want Toby or Dilana or Patrice to win. I think Lukas is a good singer, I just don't really have a strong desire to see him again after he leaves the stage.
Now I realize just how special Marty is.
And, Gilby Clarke, where have you been all my life?
See ya'll tonight!

I miss seeing Marty, Suzy, Jordis, Deanna, and Ty so much... Ok, I"m just gonna say it...I have a musical ear for pitch and most of the performances SUCKED! I've seen high school talent shows with better performances.
These people can't sing on key (and act like they don't really care how they come across) and it bugs the hell out of me to hear them. On top of it, I have a hard time listening because I'm busy trying to imagine how they ever got on this show!
Zayra was the worst! My boyfriend got up went outdoors so as not to hear her, that's how bad it was, yet those guys gushed over her...the last few bars were her best of the song, so maybe they quickly forgot the tortured animal sounds before that..
WTH?
I wasn't planning to watch The One on ABC, but ended up watching the last part of it.
Hey, there was talent! Hey, there was entertainment!
I don't give Supernova much chance if they keep going this way.
Yuck.
