WOW!!! Marty, thank you so much for stopping by and posting. It is great to see you here and to find out more about what you all have been up to.
I wound up finding RS by accident and was blown away by your performances - I was mesmorized by Lithium and it only got better from there. When I checked out the LH, I knew I had found my favorite band... I have always been a rock-n-roll chick, but had gotten used to commercial radio and hip hop. I like much of that, but discovering you and the LH helped me rediscover my love of rock and of music. I love what you all do - it is so much more powerful to me than the bulk of what is out there.
Anyway, I saw you at the Metro - the show blew me away! I got to talk to you briefly (I'm the girl from Connecticut whose pen broke and flew all over the gift shop when I gave it to you...) and hope to get to talk to you (and Bobby, Dino, Billy) at the Aragon.
I will be at the CT and Boston shows - let me know if you need a tour guide!
Rock on, Lisa from Connecticut

It's hard to put into words how much you have affected me through your music and through you as a person. It just blows my mind! Thank you so much for everything! We are all here to support you in all that you do. Your music is just so amazing. I know you are insanely busy, but please check in as often as you can. Thank you so much for posting. It means a lot. Love, Melissa xoxoxo

Wow! Thank you so much for making the time to check out mc.org. Amy and Cindy really have done an awesome job. There are some amazing people here. And some of us are amazingly always here. LOL Very fun and creative people who have been moved by you, Marty.
I was captivated by you on RS:INXS and found this site and Lovehammer's site as well. And your music--LH--has been a part of me ever since. I, too, wake up to your music flowing through my body and it it glorious. That is what is making me feel so alive. Thank you.
I may have started as a Marty Casey fan but am now a full-blown hammerhead. Hope you don't mind. LOL Billy, Bobby and Dino are amazing artists as well.
I will be making the trip from Ohio to see the Aragon show and can't wait. Chicago Theatre as well. So, when you finally come around to Columbus, Ohio I will be here to show you around. Feel free to find out what makes me tick. You won't have to go far. ; )
Now, I had better let someone else have a turn....
edited to take out quote...you all know what he said....

Wow!!! I can't believe you actually had time to even think about stopping by. How awesome that you did.
I was lucky enough to make the Metro show and it was simply phenomenal. It was great to be able to see you guys in such a small venue. I know I won't get that chance again.
I look forward to the release of your new CD and to seeing you on Feb 4th in Chicago again.

Hi Marty,
It's fantastically touching to me that you dropped by to let Cindy and Amy know how much you appreciate them and this site they've worked so hard on, and also just to say hi to us. There are a lot of bands that I like, but rarely, if ever, have I seen one that takes so much time to communicate with their fans and makes them feel involved and appreciated. Please know how wonderful this is for us. It only deepens my appreciation for you, Billy, Bob and Dino as people, in addition to what I love about you as musicians. What's not to love?
I don't live in a popular touring town, so I can't offer to show you around, but just know you've got so many people all over who are so full of hope for your future in music and are very happy to support you guys in whatever way we can. I know that I'll catch you live someday though because I was riveted by your performances on the show and in your band's DVD, so I've got to experience it live for myself.
Me? Just your average 30-ish girl -- working, but hoping for a little more joy and little more meaning in life than a paycheck. Never had a big dream to be something in particular, so I always admire those who do dream big and find a way to make it happen, especially when they also turn out to be nice people too.
I'm so happy that the Lovehammers are intact and going forward. I wish you so many good things.
PS - I LOVE the lyrics to Sleeper!

Marty, it's you who rocks!
I wrote this to you in the General Message area in the "Messages to Marty thread" on the LH board. I think it's worth repeating here.
Marty, I caught my first LH show at the Metro on the 23rd. Being a Chicagoan for the last 14 years I cannot express my grief that I have missed out on seeing you performing before. I enjoyed you on Rockstar and voted with the rest of the nice folks at Joe's. You have all the looks, talent, singing ability and presence to be a big star. But more importantly you have all the heart, soul, kindness and humility to continue being a really big human being.
I missed out on getting to meet you after the Metro show but it was still a great night and a fantastic show. I will be seeing you again at The Aragon and Chicago Theatre. I wish you all the best.

It's who? Let me see. *begins jumping up to see over the heads of the crowd in front.* You guys, let me see! *reduced to crawling through a sea of legs (nice shoes, I might add)* It really is him. (I'm glad I'm not at the doctor's office because he would be frowning at me, fiddling with his stethoscope wondering what's up with the blood pressure.) (Waves from the crowd) Marty welcome to the Org. These are some of the brightest, most creative people I have met in a long time and you'll love it. Which stands to reason, since you are one of the most talented, creative people we have ALL seen in a long time. We love you. I am so pleased that you are embarking on this journey with your friend and bandmates. I'm not only an ORG girl but a Hammerhead now too. And.. (begins to fade back into the crowd as others push forward with their best wishes and love.) Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.

Marty, Thank you so much for being the gracious person that you are. You have given us all so much and it has been my pleasure to see all the exciting things happen for you and the Lovehammers. You guys totally deserve all the success. I was a fan of yours from the beginning of Rock Star. I watched the show for some summer entertainment. I did not expect to see such a riveting performer. I was drawn to you from the first night. Each performance was better than the last. You gave it your all and I was hooked. Then I discovered the Lovehammers and my love of rock was rekindled once again. I am loving your music and I cannot wait to get the new cd in January. I am coming to see you in Chicago in Feb and you are coming to my hometown of Charlotte later that month. So I will be more than happy to show you around here. Thanks for taking time out of your very busy schedule to visit here. Amy and Cindy have done an excellent job with this site. It is fantastic. I hope you will visit often. Wishing you the most wonderful holiday and good luck on the tour. I will be anxiously waiting to see the Lovehammers live for the first time. You are the best! Rock on!!

Marty, I wrote this to you over on Lovehammers.com, but it bears repeating here: I had the great pleasure to meet you after the show at the Metro, and babbled something incomprehensible about your making my summer so much more bearable. You said how nice it was to be back in Chicago, and I said I plan to move there one day, which I have said for YEARS. As much as I thought I had prepared what to say if I ever had the opportunity, I totally spazzed it! What I really WANTED to say is: Thank You for taking the biggest risk of your life, and putting yourself out there for Rockstar/INXS. 'Take Me Out' had me hooked, and kept me tuning in from week to week to see what you would do next! During the course of the show, I came to realize what a huge leap of faith it took for you to break out of your comfort zone, and just go for it. I've been letting fear rule me my entire life, and your courage to chase your dreams showed me that the rest of my life does not have to continue this way. I'm going to take risks, do the things I've always wanted to do. It's never too late. Thank you for showing me the way. Once again, let me wish you and your 'brothers' continued success and much happiness (the ONE thing I did say to you that I'm not kicking myself for later!). You all were very sweet to take the time to meet your fans, and you deserve all the good things sure to come your way. Rock on! Debra P.S. I was sitting in McDonalds later when your parents came in for food. They rock, too! P.P.S. I would volunteer to show you around Champaign, but something tells me if you ever make it back this way, you know your way around! You show me, k?

Ok, what to say..
To Marty-
I've never been one to listen to anything stronger than Frank Sinatra, so imagine my surprise that all I listen to now is the Lovehammers. That's not even an exaggeration. I have found that there is the perfect LH song for every situation. I'll be sitting in a boring meeting listening to people discuss comprehension strategies and I'll play "Low-Life Insurance" in my head. It really gets me through those long hours.
I just wanted to add my thank you to the throngs of others. I am a typical Marty Casey fan in that we seem to be people who are not prone to being obsessive fans, and yet here we all are. That's the magic of your music. (Gosh this is corny.)
Anyway, I loved reading your view of things from your RS blog. That is what really sealed my fate as a Marty Casey fan. I hope to hear more from you. It really makes me feel like I matter even though its not just written to me. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into your fans. I can't wait for the new album to come out!
PS-I doubt you will ever have time to read this note, but if you do--Don't visit the Marty Fan Girl's section. It's really, really silly.

Marty, thank you so much for helping me find my "rocker self" again! And let me say right here, right now, I am at your service ANY TIME, and I would love to show you around during your Lincoln City Concert time in Oregon!
Thank you for being, well for being you. Taking such time with your fans, giving so much of yourself, caring so deeply. I love your music and how talented you are, but mostly I love your generosity, graciousness, and sensitivity to all your fans. Your Mom should be very proud! I know we all are!
