Marty,
Thanks for posting. I have to say that you have changed my life and reignited who I am; - someone who loves that perfect state of wonder, excitement and hope that only comes about through visionary music - a few times in a lifetime. It all started with watching you on Rockstar, exploring the Lovehammers website, ordering everything I could and listening to L'Strange and MOMM. Seeing what a talented, decent, caring, lovely person that you are is so inspiring. My whole family loves you. I live near Hermosa Beach and was so excited by the prospect of seeing you around the Lighthouse and Pier Ave., right after Rockstar. I hope you can come back soon. Know that you have so many devoted, loyal fans that are simply inspired by you. Know that wherever you happen to be, you have a lot of wonderful thoughts and positive energy directed at you. I'm just happy (sigh) knowing you're around. Looking forward to seeing you in LA at the Gibson.
Love to you, your brothers in music, and your family.

Oh, man, this is SO COOL! Thanks, Marty. It's unbelievably generous of you to share yourself with us like that, which is one of the reasons we all love you.
I'm with those other Hammerheads who just can't get enough. I feel the way I did when I discovered the Yardbirds (who also recorded on Epic, btw). They were the first band who really got me to understand what rock and roll could be: intensity, passion, spontaneity, originality, wit, brains, imagination, power, fearlessness ... all the things that you are.
Can't wait to see you in NYC (twice) and then up at Mohegan Sun. I can't remember the last time I was so nervous ordering tix. And while you're here, if you want the best brick oven pizza in NYC, check out Grimaldi's in DUMBO ... yeah, it sounds stupid ... right at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge. I know it's not Chicago style, but it still rocks!

Thankyou for posting on the board. I just wanted to express my appreciation for you. I really had lost interest in music for many years now. When I watched your performances on Rockstar INXS my interest and passion for music was rekindled. I watched you performing songs from other bands that I had never heard of. I then watched those bands videos online and everytime I did I thought you did a much better job. I think a lot of people on here feel the same way. It did also open my eyes to other bands that are out there and in general give me an appreciation for music again. I remember you saying at one time in things that I have read about you that there is a hole in music right now that needs to be filled. I think you will be able to fill that hole and I just hope that the things you and your band come up with on your new album get played enough everywhere so everyone gets a chance to hear it. Good luck to you and your band. It's great that you stuck to what you believe in and did not break away from them. I will be looking forward to the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis Minnesota on Feb 3rd to see you and the Lovehammers. I already have one of your t-shirts. It will be a great time I am sure.

Hey Marty! I usually post mainly on the Lovehammers board, but I will make an exception for this post! I sort of met you at the Metro and got a picture with you, but felt a little rude for not introducing myself. I plan to correct that soon at the Aragon show. The Metro was one of the best shows I've ever been to. Thank you (and the other Lovehammers as well) so much for a great show, and for the great music you have given us. If ya need anyone to show you around San Diego when you play at Pala, I'm happy to help. It's a great town, and has some similarities to Chicago (some of the structures, great music scene, the people, the cleanliness, the beach...of course, NOT the weather ;D ). It's the day after your album is released, so we will need to have a party.

Thanks Marty for bringing us your message. Thanks Cindy and Amy for creating this awesome venue.
My husband and I will be at one of the Lincoln City Oregon concerts. You'll be there for 2 shows so I hope you get a chance to get out and look around.
Fair warning, January isn't the best time to visit weather-wise, but maybe it won't be too bad. Hope it isn't too foggy or rainy to see anything or to get out onto the beach.
If the weather is clear, try taking the short drive down to Cape Foulweather (no - I'm not kidding) for a great view for a picture.
Lincoln City is a small city, and Oregon itself has more trees than people, so your fans here are truly appreciative of this opportunity to see the Lovehammers perform live.
Hope you have a blast on your tour!

OK, Yes I'm posting again here, but I forgot to mention a few things before. Me and the kids have tickets to see you in St. Charles MO, on February 1st. My daughter is in a wheelchair, and just went through her second of three knee surgeries scheduled- the third one is to be in middle of January-she can put no weight on her knee at this time, but after the third surgery they are putting her through major rehabilitation and have high hopes for her to walk again. My daughter is the suicidal softball player that lead her team to the Illinois Finals her Junior year in high school, and slid home wrong, and that is all she wrote, oh man, the pain was felt throughout the whole area. ANYWAY, we have her flopped up there in the handicapped area, should be the right side off of the stage clear of the main floor, her name is Natasha, and she wants to wait and put weight on her knee when she sees her Mad Conductor moves that you amazingly do with that body of yours, and she wants to dance with you. So, if you could give a little wave or smile of encouragement, that would mean the world to this 17 year old, whose goal used to play in the Olympic Softball League, and now the only thing the kid wants to do is to dance with Marty. Don't worry, me and her brother have seats right below her, so if she falls, well, we'll attempt to catch her-lol- but she says there is no way she is not dancing when she sees you dance. Is cool. And as for the softball dream, she says that if she is able to stand and move like you do, she'll just resort to coaching softball and passing on all that she was really extremely well at to other kids. Oh, and little brother is thinking about not going, he is only 13, and have already set up arrangements with another one of your great fans on this site, to possibly be bringing her daughter to sit with us. See ya later, and if you can remember to give that special wave or smile her way when you see her, that would mean everything. Love bunches Nancy...the one from Southern Illinois....Oh.Edit to tell you she has already made a shirt for the concert. A white tee that she drew a big kool-aide man pouring red juice, Says I Love Marty- what flavor do u like------is a really cute shirt....Later....

All I can say is WOW!!! What a pleasure to log on and find a message from you!!
What makes me tick??? Well, since the INXS show started (first reality show) I was stuck on you. I watched the show just to see you. I have made a CD from all the downloads on MSN, bought a T-Shirt with you on it from a Seller in England on EBAY, I ordered and received both Lovehammers CD's and the DVD, (which are all awesome by the way. Let's see, I saved so many pictures of you that I now have all the pictures set up as my screen saver and I also have you as my background on my PC, you've taken the place of my two daughters in fact. I visit this site daily for any news they may have posted about you and the Lovehammers and I watch some of the videos each day. I have now converted both of my sisters to Marty fans. They have both relocated Texas from Louisiana due to Katrina and are now living in my neighborhood. Got them watching your videos also. My husband is jealous my little girls dance around singing your songs and I even have my nephews singing your songs from the show cause I play the CD I made from the show in the car when I bring all the kids to school and pick them up. You should hear 6 kids singing your songs and knowing every word. Well, I guess that's about it, what makes me tick??? MARTY CASEY!!!! P.S. Please let us know when the tour will be in Houston, Texas....you have so many fans here and we can't wait to see you and the Lovehammers LIVE.
Texas Fan

Thank you so much for taking the time and writing in. The first time I watched Rockstar Inxs and saw you I was hooked. I knew right away that you have god given talent and would be very successful! I wish the best for the Lovehammers. Congratulations! You are a very powerful singer and keep me watching! I'm going to see the Lovehammers in Charlotte in February and I'm so excited! I don't get out much, I have two small children, so I'm ready to spend a night out and getting to go and see you perform. It will be a night to remember. Thanks again! You are the best and you can tell you have a very kind and sincere soul. See you soon, but I will be in the balcony, so maybe I can get a better look at you from up there, lol. Stay safe on the road!

Hi Marty,
I'm one of these "surprised" older fans! It's been a while since I've been so into a new band. I never even watch TV, so it was a fluke that I saw RSINXS in the first place. Yet I was hooked all summer, racing home from work to see the show, shushing people in my living room during your performances--crazy!! But it's been a BLAST, and now I have Row 3 tickets to see you in St. Charles on Feb 1st, and I'll hopefully be meeting a few other people there from this board. So......new friends, great music, Marty Casey, Lovehammers.......does it get any better than that?
Marty, I can't imagine that you guys would REALLY want to see any of St. Louis in February (not much different than Chicago weather-wise), but if there IS anything you need on your short visit here, you'd better BELIEVE I or one of the other St. Louisans here would be more than happy to help!! All you have to do is ask! More than anything, though, we are hoping that the Lovehammers will play one of the smaller St. Louis venues very soon. We want that Metro experience here in St. Louis!!
I hope the tour is an AWESOME success for you and that you all have a great time!! Thanks for taking the time to touch base with all of us here.
Linda

Hi Marty, How nice of you to come and join our mssg board! We are all so thrilled for you and the LHs. You & your band will go far. We are so excited for you guys! I was not able to go to any of the Chicago concerts, but had the great privilege of seeing you at the Rockstar show. You ruled the stage, including the last show. I thought you blew the house down with "Don't Change"! Do you remember the roars and cheers. You totally stole that day! What a blessing in disguise to come second, because now you can get to express yourself freely and not be held back. I live out in Orange County & will be attending the INXS concert on Jan 27th. I cannot wait to see you rock on stage. I hope to some how magically be able to meet the LHs. Is there anyway of catching you here out in LA or Hermosa Beach? Let me know. Rock On Marty! Virginia

Hrrm.... Well Marty, you said you wanted to know what makes us tick. I don't know about the rest, but I'm for Music, Photography, Drawing, and my passion, above all else, Writing. I don't know much about you really. All I know is that I love your music, Yours and the lovehammers that is. You have a beautiful soul...and I hope that you continue inspiring us in the future. I hope the bands good fortune continues... You all deserve it.
I do believe that the closest The lovehammers will be getting to me is Kansas City Missouri. Well, that puts a Damper in things. (I'm in Salina Kansas....oh goody...) Hmm. I've always wanted to get out of Kansas....but ofcourse... that won't be happening anytime soon. *sighs* I'm glad to hear that your keeping busy. This whole time I thought I was the only person that took their passion seriously. According to my friends, I tend to become a bitch when I'm trying to write. Truth being, when I'm in my little world, I don't like to be pulled out of it.
When I heard you do Creep, and I alone for the first time, on Rock star: Inxs, I think I melted... might have. Your voice is amazing. I wish I could sing.. I'm only good enough to get into the school choir... which I had to drop because of my older sister who has been advising me from over 100 miles away at her college. I intend to get onto the Lovehammers site very shortly, and buy both of the albums. I listened to the short clips on the site, and I immediately fell in love with "Clinic"
I think that this is a long enough post. I hope you do come back to the site soon. It's nice knowing that no matter how big someone can get, they can still keep in touch with the people that respect them... even if some of them are full heartedly obsessed fans.
Much love, and hope for a good tour with Inxs. Alexandria AKA: Allie

Hi Marty,
Thank you so much for letting all of us know what is going on in your life, it is much appreciated. I have not been able to get 'Trees' out of my head since I first heard it. I can wait till your new Cd comes out, and i get to see you live with Inxs. I was wondering if you would be doing any Autograph signing before your show in Seattle on Jan. 19??
Thanks again and Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year The best of luck Alysha

Hello Marty! Welcome to the most awesome web site! Glad that you took the time to keep all of us informed. Thank you for the most amazing concert at the Metro. I was blown away by the Lovehammers. I could not believe I was even there....I had to keep pinching myself. I started to watch you on Rock Star INXS the week you sang "I Alone". I was hooked thereafter. What a huge talent you are. You obviously have a million new fans now. I wish only the best to the Lovehammers. I cannot wait to hear the new album. I am sooooo looking forward to seeing you guys play in Chicago with INXS. I had the chance to meet you at the Metro. You were so patient with everyone and so very gracious. AND of course gorgeous!!! You had such a calming energy coming from you. It's no wonder when someone meets you they want MORE! How lucky for anyone to be able to have a long deep conversation with you. I had a minute or two, and I am thankful for that. Marty, whoever comes into your life....girlfriend, wife, kids (?) will be so very blessed to have you. Your talents are amazing - off the charts. To top that off you have such a warming presence...what a wonderful man!!! We all wish you and the band the best possible time of your lives. We support you and will help in any way we can. God bless you Marty, dreaming1/Laurie
