Little Miss Sunshine The funniest part of the whole movie was at the very end. Rest I could do without ^_^ I saw the movie while it was still in theatres and I loved it! It's so funny. I just rented it a few days ago to watch it again. It's definately one of the best movies I've seen in awhile!

Today I've had movies going while I graded papers...but not rentals...all from my collection...first up it was "Jesus Christ Superstar" (Ted Neeley version...not Glenn Carter), then "Emmit Otter's Jug-Band Christmas", then "The Pearl" (which made me angry because they didn't kill the baby and that's a big part of the book), and lastly, "RENT"....*sniffle*...

I need to rent a movie....just don't know which one. Cheza, you watched a lot of movies today. I need to do that. I just have to get away from my keyboard first.

Well, I had them going while grading papers...so I wouldn't say I WATCHED them...listened more...which I did have to watch most of Emmit because it had been so long since I saw it and the blasted blooper reel on it with the drum is PRICELESS. TOO FUNNY.
Still grading papers...*sigh*...and they are AWFUL.

The papers won. I give up tonight. I've worked on them for two days straight and I'm not finished. I know one of the kids will give me attitude tomorrow. He always does. He can get over it. I heard he got a spanking Saturday for pushing a kid and breaking his glasses...deep inside...I laughed and did a little happy dance.
One may get a zero...want to ask co-workers what they think.

Yeah Ultra Violet wasn't all that good. Too bad it looked really cool, but it wasn't as interesting as a story.

I agree completely with you, Luna. I really thought the movie looked good, but the story just didn't work for me.
It is the same as 'The Covenant' for me. I thought that being from the makers of Underworld that it would be that great, but the story just didn't reach it's full potential...The actor's were cute. The special effects great. The fight scenes interesting. The story just fell flat.

Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas - for the fifteenth time at least. I don't know why I just don't buy it!

I have never seen that one Jet...That is a true story right? I think my hubby rented it. He enjoyed it, but told me it was a little on the "dark" side for me?

Just watched Little Miss Sunshine and it was quite bizzare for me. It had funny moments but I didn't get all the hype. I did enjoy how the family came together to make sure Olive pursued her dream at the pageant but the craziness to get her to Cali was insane and man did gramps have a major potty mouth. Did Cary Grant ever cuss in a movie to make it good? Thats my point exactly Jilly
