Nope . . . still here trees . . . just looked away for a moment . . .
Ok, if you want to quote ANYTHING, all you need to do is put [*quote] in front and[*/quote] at the end and VOILA!
IMPORTANT: except you don't use the *, I had to put them in so it wouldn't 'quote' my quotes! ;D

Help. I try to view the Metro Intro video and it always freezes just as Marty is popping out of the trash bin. I'm running WMP version 9 on a Mac OSX. I clip on the "Watch in Quicktime" link but it goes no where. Has anyone had the same problem?

I clip on the "Watch in Quicktime" link but it goes no where. Has anyone had the same problem? I'm in Mac OSX too. The clip will start playing when it's only partially loaded... that's why you're only seeing part of it. You have to wait for it to load all the way. (Until the progress bar reaches the end.) It's quite slow. Once it's loaded, it's in your cache and it will load really quickly so you can watch it again... and again (unlike streaming video like RM & WMV which have to buffer and reload every time). P.S. If you have Quicktime Pro, you can click on the arrow at the right-hand edge of the movie and save the file to your hard drive (after it has loaded completely). If you just have the standard version of Quicktime (the one that comes with OSX), you can save it by going to "File", "Save Page As". (I've noticed that this only works in Firefox though, not in Safari and IE.) Edited to add: That's not Marty popping out of the dumpster, it's Dino. You haven't gotten to the Marty part yet -- he staggers out of a rickshaw.

I am working in Firefox, so I'll try to download it. Thanks for all your help! You gave me help before. BTW, I think all our creative graphics, etc. ROCK and add so much to the board. I can see why, you're on a Mac! Thanks again!

when I click on ideas@MartyCasey.org to submit my cd cover idea I get a microsoft message that says 'Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed". Is this a problem with the site, or my own computer? Not very good at this stuff. Thanks in advance.

Try going to your own email that you use to send/receive them and type in the address there. I usually can't use the ones you click on as I do not use that program for emails. Hope this helps. ;D

Rockfan is correct that is an email link that allows you to send email. If you are using a browser that doesn't have an email client associated with it, you need to just go to your email software and send an email to that address.
And please no graphics...as we have the box set to not accept large files. Just write out your ideas and submit them.

Does martycasey.org have a history page or how this website came to fruition? I thought it might be interesting to read.

You need to update your FAQ to include that you censor opinions contrary to your own.
This is certainly true and needs to be disclosed.
Thank you.
