Please see the above post for the star rating. If you are in the 18+ category then you won't get any more stars. You have to choose whether you want to earn stars or be in the 18+ category. I hope I am not repeating a quesiton or just not really understanding the above answer, but I have two stars and I still say 18 and over, can or will it change to Just a fan until i put in more post? I really want to get up there, lol!!! Hope this is not a repeat question, if so then I am sorry! |

As for the three stars... I just felt like it. The stars are kinda cute...all gold and twinkly looking.

Picture Posting & Stuff: Hey, I just wanted everyone to know that I am a Tech Support person by trade, so if you have any questions or issues with doing a certain operation on the site or just basic questions, etc.. then please do not hesitate to send me a PM and ask away. I really don't mind helping you out.. I can totally do what I can to help you and make your stay here much more enjoyable. I also will host pictures for you like an image hosting site will do- if you are getting frustrated by those image hosting sites. I really don't mind. Just fyi.. Thanks! I am new to all of this and not to computer savvy. But I would like to put the pic of myself and my daughter at the concert under my name but I am not sure how to do it. Right now they are in my iphoto program. Any help would be great!

Ok check your private messages.. Here's the info I sent you.. Click on my name and send me a message if you need further help. In order to have an avatar (picture w/ your name) you need to have it loaded somewhere on the Internet. I use photobucket. If this is too complicated (it can be at first) then email me the picture at overdonedrama@aol.com and I'll work w/ you to get it set up. To set up your avatar: First, you need to save the avatar to your computer. Then you need to upload it to your own web storage site (like www.photobucket.com Photobucket accounts are free and pretty easy to set up.) Now, look up to the top of the board. Under the "MartyCasey.org: A Marty Casey Fan Site" Banner, in little writing, click on "profile," (right beside "logout"). Next to "Member's Bio," click on the link called "Modify Profile." Scroll down to the section called "Personal Information." In the field called "Avatar URL" put the link to the avatar. (At photobucket it gives it to you under the photo in the picture album in a field called "Url.") For "Avatar Width" and "Avatar Height" put 100 in each field. (That's what all mine are and most others are too.) "Personal Text" is whatever you want it to say under your avatar. Click "Modify Profile" at the bottom of the page and your avatar is set up. |

I've been wondering - other boards that I've been to (including LH.com) have the links to go back to previous pages (see below) at the bottom of the page as well as the top - this really makes it easier for navigation - instead of having to scroll up to the top when you finish reading the latest post

yeah - I usually start by clicking on the most recent posts on the main page, then want to go to the Section to see if there were others that I haven't seen yet or back to General --
for instance in the sample I gave before:
MartyCasey.org Message Board :: General :: Forum/Site News & Support :: Post tech support & board questions here
I would have clicked on the "post tech support" link from the main page - want to go to Forum/Site News section next, have to scroll to top of page to click link
then if I know I've read the last new post in a section and want to go back to Main Page. once again have to scroll up
so if these links could be at the bottom as well as the top - would be cool
