okay since you asked.....unless you are in the wedding party, or a relative (close), or it is for your best friend in the entire world (who should understand, yeah right)....I would seriously consider blowing it off. But then again...thats just me.  It's my best friends daughter............. |

Sorry to hear that. That is a really hard one. Does your friend support your Obsession with Marty and the Band?? There might be a tackful way to broach the subject with her without her getting upset that you are considering not coming. Unfortunately I am not a tackful enough person to be able to carry that off successfully. I didn't mean to be flippant before. I just really hope you can come to Memphis.  |

I can't possibly enjoy it.
But If I don't go I'm gonna make up for it big time at the next show........................

well my, here is my opinion on that.... if she is not a good enough friend to understand your obsession then, well, she is just not a good friend. Blow it off! Go to the show, the other hammerheads (and Marty) will understand!
Still not sure if I am gonna make it or not. Still waiting for LH to announce something about tour dates befroe I decided.
I don't know if you guys noticed this or not, but this Beale St. thing is now official... it is posted on the LH site under tour dates.

Oh vicki I noticed. Trust me after my SXSW disappointment I have learned to wait until it is official before putting any money down on it. I booked a couple of hotel rooms but I waited until it became official before booking those airline tickets.  Well the ball is in play now, my flight will land in Memphis Friday afternoon at 12:45pm. woo hoo  I really hope you decide to come vicki. Would love to see you there. I will bring a fifth with me to Memphis to keep in the motel room for pre-buzz and post show nite caps. LOVE JACK and Pepsi. I have drank Jack Daniels at all three Lovehammers shows I have attended, the drunkest I have been would be CBGB's, POST SHOW. when we all went to this bar near CBGBs and got totally hammered. I had THE worst hangover the following day... |

Are all of you hammerheads going to try to get together somewhere before the Lovehammers play? if so let me know....i would love to meet you guys!!! hey stephie, the only thing we had talked about so far is meeting right after the band before them in front of the stage so we can all be up front together. since we don't know yet what time they will be playing we can't really make more specific plans. alot of us will be street teaming around prior to that. many of us will dress in something recoginazable like LH t-shirts bought or homemade, or just red and black, and of course MC.org wristbands. hope to meet you there.
