I just booked the hotel. I haven't decided whether I'm flying or driving (Winnipeg) but I will get there. I spent a lot of time on the Web and found that most of the hotels in and around the downtown area were booked - HoJo's for instance is now booked on those dates. So I thought I'd mention where I booked in case anyone is still wondering what hotel to stay in. I booked at The Best Western Grant Park Hotel on S. Michigan Ave. It's not totally cheap but like I say, I didn't find a whole lot of choices for those dates. Hope that helps someone. Can't wait for October. First time in my life I ever wished summer away.

That's where I'll be staying as well. It's only a 15 min ride from the Metro so it's not too bad at all. I was getting nervous that I was the only one not going to be at HoJo's. Hopefully we'll be able to meet up. I'm from Ottawa - nice to know that there are other Canadians going!!

I am staying with my husband at one of the O'Hare Marriotts too. Can't remember which one, I will have to ask the hubby. I was starting to think I was the only one staying by the airport! We may be renting a car, so if you and your wife need a ride to or from the Metro, let me know. Anyone else staying near the airport?

What an offer!.........may pursue that.........right noow our plans are to drive to Chicago...spend Friday night just the two of us.......get ready early Saturday and drive into town in the morning...park at an all day lot.......and hopefully hook up with as many of you as we can throughout the day.....maybe do lunch.....earlly dinner......or just hit a bar or something.......I don't think we should just go to HoJo's and the Willow and start banging on all the doors yelling GET UP Hammerheads!!!! You guys should be able to locate me and the missus fairly easily...........I should have a white 'stiletto' shirt on..........and driving one of these (company car) around..........

Stiletto, you're gonna look like a secret agent man. Maybe for accessories, you can sport and earplug attached to a wire in your pocket.

Hi all,
Does anyone have hotel contact information that they can share? Something nice but not horribly expensive. I've never been to Chicago and have not a clue where to stay.
Only 134 more days till Marty time!

Hi all, Does anyone have hotel contact information that they can share? Something nice but not horribly expensive. I've never been to Chicago and have not a clue where to stay. Only 134 more days till Marty time! We used expedia.ca Skye........ We found a nice Hotel near O'hare airport about a 15 minute drive from town. If you want a place within walking distance it is going to be a challenge..........most are booked.........and the rest are either a little too expensive (we're in town for three nights) or too crappy to consider. If you are only in for one night then something a little more expensive may be feasible for you. There is a list going around the PM circuit that shows where everyone is staying....not sure who is managing it. Can someone send it to Skye?

If there is a list going around could someone please send it to me also or let me know where it is posted...pretty please I have been checking on expedia.com but unfortunatly I will have to wait till August before I can afford airline tix and hotel...yikes so I would love to check out what info is out there. Im in Washington and never been to Chicago or anywhere past Utah, so Im a bit nervous and any info would be great!
