I'll be staying at Days Inn near the O'Hare Airport.
I don't know about anything circulating via pm - but Rockdivagirl is working on a spreadsheet of everyone's flights/airlines (with my help if she needs it - remember, RDG???) - so people are sending her pms with their info or she is getting it from posts on here and on LH.com - ideally, no one will have to take shuttles or trains or cabs alone (unless they want to!) -
Rockdivagirl is a travel agent who has generously offered her assistance to fellow HammerHeads.

skye, we put a bid in at price land.com and holliday in chicago skokie took it. we are only paying 70.00 a night. it is a 2 half star hotel. the last time we got a hotel we did the same thing , and the hotel was very nice. good luck. dawn

oceangirl, Not being a native from Chicago, I can tell you that the city is GREAT! It is not too expensive and is very easy to get around in. I go often and have never had a bad experience. My first LH concert I traveled alone and had a blast meeting other LH fans! Check out www.metromix.com if you need Chicago advice. Let me know if I can be of any help! Sharon |

 I think there are plenty of people with "Hammermunchies." can't wait to see you all. the good news is that the marathon is actually the following weekend so less competition for restaurants, etc. I haven't booked hotel yet, but gotta admit I'm looking more Magnificent Mile. Gotsa get my shopping in, too!

chk, if you're looking to stay on the Mag mile try Hotwire-- I always get killer deals! I got W on Lakeshore Dr for $190 a night!

Hey Sharon *waves hi* Where is the area we should do our shopping on Saturday? I don't know Chicago at all. I am planning to go in Sept. for Wicker Park Oyster Fest an will try to take a little look around then. But I know you have got the place already in mind for us for HammerJam Saturday. I'm thinkin we should at least be able to squeeze in shopping between, like 10 & 2:30ish. Can't wait, this time we will get to meet and shop and ROCK!! WooHoo!!  Sharon |

sdbrins-- the Mag mile of course! Just hit Michigan Ave and everything you want is right there! You can train in or taxi it depending on where you are staying. There is also some more vintage shopping on Armatidge and the Bucktown area. Let me know what kind of shopping you want and I will find it! Keep in mind taxes are steep in Chicago!
