Off topic again....oops....sorry...That is fantastic about your weight loss...I have been amazed at how quickly my weight has dropped off....mind you, I have been cutting out all flour and sugar and basically all junk food and just eating smaller portions...and I have kept my mind on other things - eg. MC.org. LOL!! I have so much to thank Marty for....I don't know where to start!!

Hi Dani,

This is pretty cool. It's like emailing in shifts. I was emailing around the globe today while you were asleep, now you will be emailing while I'm asleep tonight. I sent emails to all of the ones listed so far here, the Magazines and Newspapers thread and all of the international ones listed on the Radio/Webcasts thread on page one. I'm going to start on U.S. ones tomorrow. I'm also looking forward to Helen's posting more of the addresses for the press in OZ.

I wanted to also say that I think that Radioclash has been a really great Moderator this week. She has helped make the Street Team thread a great source of info for all of us.

You are so right gals. Lost 12 kilos so far working self into a lather about Marty, typing into a frenzy and forgetting to eat. And I just joined the gym and they gave me a fitness assessment. Voila, I am offically fit, even before I start exercising. That Marty does wonders for the metabolism. Now I just have 6 months to shift my extra **% body fat.

Just thought I'd clue you in on some tips and advice shared in the Lovehammers Fanclub chat last Wednesday about Street Team promotional stuff:

Note: One caution is to avoid over bombarding any one person with too many emails, particularly on same day, just so they don't get pissed off. But polite, personal and enthusiastic emails just like you are doing sounds just great.

TBone and Tisha (spiritgateway) were there, and the new LH site is run by my buddies from Snarkgasm, Scribbles79, beantown and some other gals. They are super cool and knowledgeable and really committed to spreading the love and every Wednesday they are going to be having a scheduled chat session for all Lovehammer fans.

I am writing to you regarding your review of the INXS Switch album published in today's edition of The Straits Times Life! section. I agree with your review although I haven't listened to all the songs in the album yet, just Pretty Vegas. I am not a fan of JD Fortune but have to admit that he does fit into the band.

I'm more a fan of the RS:INXS runner-up Marty Casey. Marty and his band, the Lovehammers, will be opening for INXS' tour in North America. They are also going to release their album, Marty Casey and the Love Hammers, on January 24. They are signed to the Epic label. Their single, Trees, is available on the website, www.lovehammers.com. You would have to register with an e-mail address before being directed to a link to listen to the full length version of the single. The single is rumoured to be released Jan 14.

Are you planning to do a review of the album? Or even perhaps feature the album as "album of the week" or do an interview with the band? I've been a fan since September last year and the thing I like about the band is that they are accessible to their fans. I'm sure that if you log on to their message board at www.lovehammers.com and send them a personal message requesting an interview, they'd be more than happy to oblige. Since being on the RS:INXS show, the band has amassed countless fans from around the world (see www.frappr.com/martycaseyandlovehammers - map of fans). One site you might want to visit is www.martycasey.org which is a fan tribute to the band's lead singer, Marty. The message board there is teeming with fans who start their own campaigns to get the band to come tour in their cities (see www.frappr.com/lovehammersstreetteammap and http://www.lovehammersonline.com).

Like many of the band's fans, I have pre-ordered my autographed copy of the CD via a friend in the US. I would be happy to lend you (temporarily!) the CD for you to do a review if you have problems procuring a copy from Epic.
