In stark contrast to how Mia's day is going.... phone rings. Me: hello. Man: Hi is this chk? This is hk records and we want you to know we got MCLH in. Me: u did? just one or is it in stock? Man: just one for you! okay, I will go buy that copy (my 11th!) and use it for more promo. This is the same guy I made look at the cd review on thier own ordering site, which gives it four and half stars. Will keep plugging along -- and sending questions for fave band to Philippines radio stations!

Well, the day just got incredibly better. I went to meet Danish fashion designer Peter Ingwersen, who creates the INCREDIBLE Noir collection. It was like meeting my long lost best friend. We talked fashion, travel jetlag, and music. Natch, that combination of topics meant that a band called Lovehammers came up in the course of conversation. He was so excited when I told him about LH music and how I traveled to Chicago to see them because they were so hot. And when I told him he needed to design a men's colleciton because his style is perfect for the LH lead singer, he said, " I want to dress your band. Promise to send me the CD!"OMG!!! I am happy hammerhead. go check out the Noir collection and tell me if I am not right about this, guys. Peter is super cool and very excited to hear band's music. So let's check out his cool clothes in return -- they look cool and provide sustainable support to 3rd world.

hi ginger. I posted this in hammerheads, too. To date, Peter only designs for women. I will try to get a good link to his collection and post it here as well.

I would love to see his clothing, but could also only find women's clothing. I did read that he is dedicated to help out the 3rd world. Sounds like a fascinating guy.

I'm so sorry that the interview with MCLH didn't push through. Thank you very much everybody for taking the time to tune in. The guys from Chicago tried to phone but had problems connecting to 103.5FM Klite Manila. They gave up trying and will attempt to do another interview in another time zone using their management's phone system. DJ Ron didn't tell me until this morning when I was at the radio station that the interviews they do with foreign bands are done privately in a recording studio. They broadcast the interview during their Weekly Tally Charts interspersed with the songs. I wasn't even allowed to use their phone to check what happened to Billy, Bobby, and Dino. I was lucky that some of my filipino friends sent me cellphone minutes and I was able to call poor Marty who was waiting for a call in New York. Well, I caught him while he was chilling out in a bar so I guess he wasn't in a bad place. Even if we do another interview, fans all over the world won't be able to hear it until a later time--when it's on Klite's Weekly Tally every Wednesday at 2pm Manila time or when I post it. If the audio file is too big, I won't be able to post it because I only have a dial up system and sending it through "yousendit.com" or "sendspace.com" doesn't always work for me. Sending a CD abroad will be too costly. Maybe the solution is that I chop up the interviewing recording into a number of little audio files then send them that way. The interview will be rescheduled. I don't know if all four are going to be part of it. I will be arranging an interview with Marty because he really wants to do it and was just waiting in New York to be interviewed today. Since a landline is needed to connect better to Klite, Marty will be calling himself that way. It's not easy dealing with the media. Dan wanted someone from the station to look into the phone problem. I told Ron and he just passed the buck to me and that I should deal with it myself since I'm organizing everything. What could I have done? ? I don't have the power to fix phone lines or whatever. I felt so bad for guys. Billy, Dino, and Bobby: I'm sorry if you had a hard time connecting to Klite's telephone. I was really looking forward to interviewing you. Thank you so much for your efforts. Thank you Dan for helping me coordinate. I will be there during Marty's interview with Ron. I don't even know if I will get to talk. Anyway, I have to be there just so that the Lovehammers aren't inconvenienced again. I don't want any of them having to wait in vain. -Mia

Den..
I'm going to copy/paste your yeehaw (out of context a bit, but you got it from Marty, right?) in favorite Marty quotes thread.
It's one of my favorites from the Twisted concert...lol
