It's crucial we all vote everyday. The fact that Marty Casey did the interview for this station will make them more popular. He has a lot of filipino fans because of his stint on Rockstar INXS. It's time they get to know the entire band.
He did an endorsement blurb and he sounded so great saying: "Hi, This is Marty Casey of the Lovehammers and you're listening to 103.5FM Klite Manila's New Alternative". Marty rocks!!!!! This is great advertising for the band!
Weds is the Weekly Tally. I will be voting on my cellphone like crazy. I want TREES to be number 1!

vI tuned in, because if the interview was last night I couldn't wait! I'm ready for next Wed. It was really exciting to hear the DJs talking so postively about the song. The only time I've heard DJs talking about it was when the band was in studio so it was good to hear. The DJ's are prediciting it will go to #1 so let's help it. Very easy to vote. Resistance, Persistance, one man can make a difference...
Marty Casey and the Lovehammers has done it again. The band's first cut on the album, Casualty, has been chosen by NU 107 Rock Manila to be on their play list. It took 3 weeks of waiting for Francis Brew, NU's program director to make a decision, but MCLH has proven that it's not only Trees that has the edge to make it through the charts.
NU 107 Rock Manila's website is currently under construction so unfortunately international fans won't be able to vote for Casualty. It's up to the Filipino fans to make some noise for "Casualty". I will post the text voting number when I get it.

Well...you might wanna kill a DJ now. The station didn't edit the interview yet. They announced they will have it ready Weds. They shouldn't say so if they're not going to do it. You lose credibility that way. I called the DJ Eric and he was less than friendly when I asked about Marty's interview broadcast. "We'll broadcast it when we're ready". I can edit the interview myself in 30mins. What's new?  I could have flipped on the phone when I talked to Ron but didn't bother anymore. So I really don't know when you guys will hear this interview. |

I'm so excited about the Y101 interview!! Can't wait! I'm used to Klite by now, Mia - no problem. I actually could not get a connection all day yesterday. I think they changed their servers or something and I was having problems. I'll keep voting ;D |

My family informs me that I have become the Hammerhead equivalent of the Travelling Gnome. And here's why... me in Taipei.  nobody but nobody has heard of LH in Taiwan, however, I did go to a very cool record store that specializes in independent and lesser known artists. I got their card and will try to follow up. Also got a sort-of contact for Sony in Taiwan and will see where that leads, too. |
