I LOVED it!!!!! Specially the whole Saint Martin painting episode. Synchronicity at its best (in the Junguian sense of the term)... yes, I'm a nerd... can't help it THANK YOU Marty for sharing your South American experiences. It is my favorite blog entry so far.

I think it rocked and I loved his comment about the traffic and the crazy old lady driver. "like waves in a waterbed" man I love that ! oh and the Six Flags turbulence..which Is why I hate flying myself. I always seem to get on that kind of flight when I have flown in the past haha. Good stuff Marty, thanks for being so descriptive and helping us "be there" with ya!

I think that was one of my fave blogs of Marty's If he doesn't write an autobigraphy of his life towards the end of his career (which I hope goes for a LONG time yet) we, the public are really missing out on a great talent. The way he writes is so enthralling, I can always picture myself exactly where he is when he blogs, he is amazing Helen

Love, love, love it. He definitely has a knack for interesting analogies! I second the biography thing aussiefan.....he's an avid fan of autobiographies and such, so I think that would be great many years from now!

He had me at Martin over the loudspeaker.... Great blog. I love that he is just as skilled at describing a wonderful experience as he is at describing a totally uncomfortable one. There is something intriguing and familiar about the way he writes that allows us all to relate.

He had me at Martin over the loudspeaker.... Yes, that was amusing... can you imagine hearing his name called in the airport ... but it took the next few lines to snag me. Really?!?!? One backpack. I'm totally impressed. I see Mr. Casey is a list maker. As a 'friend-imposed' reformed lister, that was refreshing. Especially the underroos. Good thing those are on the list. In the plural, I hope. But he forgot the toiletries. Tsk, tsk. Looks like he will be making a trip to the local Walmart. Yes, one day later and I'm still hung up on the packing... Good read!
