wanna answer your earlier question about next week's show being "viewer's choice" -- it is just like last season when the viewers got to vote for which song the contestants would sing (Marty did Everlong). You can vote on msn's rockstar page.

(as posted on the "NEWBIES-Aussie Fans Thread 4") Dilana certainly needed to be reprimanded, but they did it in a very educational, "voice-of-experience" manner...sometimes it's knowing what NOT to say, because the press can be sooo cruel sometimes and turn sh*t around to make the person they're interviewing look real bad to the public! I've only voted once this year since no one blows me away like Marty did last year. This year it's more like who I "don't want to win!".  But now I'm in with "Save Toby and Magni" too. I just wish someone would hook Toby and Magni up with some cool duds. Stylist anywhere?  |

Yes Yes Yes, let´s help Magni and Toby. They definitely need our help and it is not time for them to go home yet. They have been doing so great and have not deserved to be in the bottom three  Magni will probably be in more danger next week because he has now been three times in the bottom 3. The time difference is definetly working against both of them. Here in Iceland we need to vote at night between 3-7. With only 300.000 population in Iceland (children & elderly people included) you can see that Magni can not count on many votes from home. Most of you agree that Magni has one of the best voice in this competition so let´s keep him in. Magni and Toby - keep on doing great and you have my votes for sure  |

I am guilty of not voting this season yet either...my hand is still sore from the weekly million votes i was giving to Marty...LOL! But you're right it's time to save Magni and Toby...not only are they extremely talented (Always liked Magni but Toby really won me over this week)...they also seem to be good guys too! After hearing the bottom three was decided literally by a handful of votes I realized it's time to get voting...and Magni & Toby are definitely the best votes so count me in too!

Which is why I'm not sitting on the sidelines any more ... I haven't voted at all this year, mainly because I've been ambivalent about so many of this year's "rockers". But now that it's getting down to the wire, I like certain performers better overall than others, not because of any particular performance, but because of the sum of all their performances. I agree with you about Lukas, btw, and will vote for him, too.

Hey now! What is this save so and so campaign? I remember that nonsense last year when a group of fans got together and wanted to "Save Suzie" and our dear boy Marty Casey ended up in the bottom 3 because of it. I'm not doing any of this campaign voting this year. Nuh-uh!  I told you guys I am with the Rossi Posse. I want him to win. I like his style....I think he would be an excellent choice for Supernova.   I voted for Toby AND Magni both this past week (along with my Lukas votes), and I gotta tell you I am pretty disappointed they BOTH ended up in the bottom three. 2 out of 3 of my choices this week...bottom 3! That's not very good! It would have totally broken my heart if my boy Lukas would have been there too.   I'm happy to see a bit of Lukas love on this board. I was beginning to think I might be alone in my appreciation of Lukas' talent. I think that they don't give him anything on the show and yet he remains safe and obviously a favorite week after week. I also enjoy Storm and Toby and actually Ryan. Magni leaves me cold somehow. I think he's such a nice guy that I should like him but his voice (which I know is good) does nothing for me. I liked Dilana at the beginning but lately she's been a bit blah for me. I still think (along with everyone in the reality world) that she'll probably win. My least favorite player this season though is none of the contestants but the SN band themselves. They really seem like such a joke. I can't believe they will stay together long. All that said...No one this season even comes close to Marty. A different world. |

roight, so I was in another room while my hammerhubby caught up on episodes of RS:SN and I did the ol --don't look, but listen test. Gotta say doing so made me think for teh first time that Toby is all that and a shrimp on the barbie. His voice really cuts thru the music and he sounds pretty good. It is actually hard to hear Lukas or Dilana, both of whom were my early picks.
all you viewers in the US who have agreed to help in the Thunder from Down Under vote, please note that in Asia we have to pay for each vote and in Oz they have less time to vote than you have. There is no way that it can't be slanted toward the US audience -- so help out me mates from the Aussie Thread and cast a few Toby's way.

Good onya chk, I was fair dinkum about the voting here in Australia, so glad you've hopped on to help us Aussies.  We gotta save save Toby and Magni and just for Amy and Skye I will throw a few votes their way for Lukas.Ryan is still one of my faves but he has enough vote pulling power already and after checking out his myspace page and his other stuff he certainly is very talented. Lookin' forward to this coming week and to see how much trouble Dilana's big mouth has affected her voting.  I reckon Storm is probably the next one to be out the door. I really enjoy watching Lukas. He has been my favorite since day one....it's nice to see him finally stand up and cheer his peers, and high-five  when they are finished performing. He's become a part of them... Dilana is street smart, just like Lukas... and she is naive enough to think that everyone is a mark. That's her problem. I really enjoyed Dilana's first performance, but she is so transparent I've been unable to enjoy her since. Toby has really impressed me the past few weeks... that started with Talking Heads - "Burning Down The House". I had such an adrenaline rush I couldn't even sleep. Magni has also come shining thru the past several weeks. It took me a long time to get past his debut... because he did come off as a cheesy Las Vegas act. |

I picked Toby from the first episode......and I'm sticking to my guns...........he is a natural............everyone else has to work harder to do what he is doing naturally........
Lukas..........are you guys serious......that voice........drives me insane..........not singing to me.
Dilana..........She should have sang Laupers True Colors (cuz they are sure showing) instead of Time after Time........her voice is too raspy and she still looks like an HR PuffnStuff character.
Magni.........he is going to do great outside of SN.........they won't choose him because of the family angle.
Storm.........I finally figured it out..........she reminds me WAY too much of Lindsay Lohan!!!!!
Ryan...........he IS the dark horse and if Toby has any real competition..........it's Ryan.

I've been watching from the beginning, but nothing and no one has moved me terribly, BUT I have to say in the last couple of weeks, it has finally begun to get interesting!! Dilana--she's the one I have liked the most consistently and/or thought is right for the band, BUT she's starting to get boring to me, both vocally and performance-wise. Maybe that's because some of the others have stepped it up, I don't know, but I'm not seein' it as much. I didn't like her performance with SN very much, which maybe isn't her fault, but............ Lukas--sorry, I don't get it, not at all! I don't like how he looks, how he sings, or how he acts much. Although I have to say, they are beginning to show a little more of a playful side to him, and he is kinda cute when he smiles. It just seems to me like he kind of hides behind all that make-up/persona stuff--I can't hear his voice much. I always think that if you combed and dressed him like Matt Hofer, he'd be gone already. In other words, I think he LOOKS more like a rockstar than he sounds like one. JMHO......sorry Lukas fans.....I do think he'll be around for the finale, though.. Storm--I think she's a great singer. I think she's bold, assertive, aggressive, fun..........but also somehow not right for this band. She'd be a great guest singer for them sometime. Also, I would like to hear her with them before she goes, which I honestly hope is next--not because I don't like her, but because I'm not ready to see any of the others go yet. Magni--I also like Magni a lot, and OMG he was great with Fire this last week!! Am also eager to hear him with SN, but so far he just doesn't have that "rockstar" feel to me. Maybe HIS band could open for SN? But I don't see him fronting them. Sorry Magni, I think you're adorable, but...........(I wouldn't mind that much if he was the next to go either, actually) Ryan--WELL, hasn't he really stepped it up lately??? I like his voice most of the time, and I think he's hot most of the time, and there is no denying that he has really KILLED it the last couple of weeks, especially with his original! Still..........he still has that kind of brooding look/quality about him (I always say he looks like he has a bellyache) that bothers me (but he IS cute when he smiles). On the other hand, I like how he is at the mansion, what he has to say and how he says it. Don't know--I'd like to see more of him, and also singing with SN. And finally--TOBY--who wasn't my favorite ever, UNTIL the last couple of weeks, and this week in particular!  What can I say? He looked and sounded great with the band. I've listened to the SN song several times and can't get it out of my head. Toby is f**king gorgeous!! He's down-to-earth, unpretentious, seems to be fun-loving, and has certainly proved he can RAWK!! He seems to fit in with them. My aussie friends, I'll be voting my ass off for Toby here in the states on Tuesday!! That's my take, for what it's worth. Can't believe it's getting so close to the end--just when it's getting interesting!! I enjoy reading everyone's comments--decided it was finally time to make some of my own. Thanks for reading!! |

Okay folks all this talk about power voting is causing a confession outta me. In our household its all about Magni and Storm. We had been power voting for Ryan and Dilana also but they both need to be spanked and sent to their rooms. Lukas has done nothing for us, looking at his eyebrows alone makes me cringe and he just doesn't sing that well. I think he will more than likely win since Tommy is so sold on him but who knows anymore. I quit trying to guess this year. My hubby and I power voted for Marty like 200 times each week , this year about 50 is the most I'll subject my eyes to that crappy voting system.... p/s this is for STILETTO...."Lindsey Lohan"? please spare me go to Youtube.com and look her up and watch her video called "Penetration" and tell me if you think Ms Lohan could pull that off. the answer is a "NO" Storm is more Sharon Stone, Kim Catrall ( don't get me started  ) peace out, Jilly |

I do agree with you Jilly,
Lukas and Dilana both need some spanking. I really liked them in the beginning but I´ve lost interest in Lukas (sorry fans) and Dilana has not been doing anything new lately (except for her bad attitude) and she really need to step it up. I am pretty sure that it wont harm them to end up in the bottom three in next week but the rest of the contestans are in so much more danger in the bottom3, especially Magni because he has already been there three times. So if you like him please vote for him or Supernova will send him home for sure in next week, 4 times in bottom3 = go home.
