I want to go in Chicago but haven't bought tix yet. I was waiting to see if TOBY won, but if he will be opening up with HB, I will go either way.

First time poster, Followed Rockstar INXS last year and was for Marty all the way! I am going to disagree with most of you as I think Dilana is the person to front SN! She is edgy and has amazing stage presence and she captivated me from the first performance! I will agree she has had a couple of bad performances of late (all of the rockers have had bad performances) but she has been consistantly great! I think all the rockers are good but Toby's Mr Brigtside.........! Magni has great vocals but is lacking stage presence! Lukas is edgy but could destroy his voice on tour with SN! Storm is a great singer but just not right for SN! I think they will all have amazing careers after the show! I don't thinks they want a women to front the band so I think that Lukas is going to win! Just my thoughts!

It's funny that we all had the same favorite last year and this year we all disagree. Welcome to the board!

ha! I'm another one to benefit from the different time zone thing. I always like watching the reality episodes cos you can see more of the rockstars' personalities. I am aware though that the media does manipulate the audience with selective screening so everything has to be taken with a pinch of salt. The problem with Dilana is that she can't see beyond herself. She is all about me, me, me. That doesn't help in songwriting or any other types of creative writing. To write well, you need to be an observer sometimes and be able to tap on the people and lives around you. Dilana's inability to do this is probably the reason why she remains stagnant in the competition whereas the other rockers have grown to varying degrees. In writing that song for SN, not only is it so not PC, she's alienating the very people who get to determine whether or not she stays on. The words that came out from her mouth, that she needs her fans and they need her - that really surprised me. After giving internet fans the finger and basically demonstrating that she doesn't need them, would the fans need her? There'll always be another rockstar down the road. Think, Dilana, think - the equation must be: rocker fans; and fans rocker. I'm sorry if I've offended the Dilana fans out there. I used to be one of you. Keyword: used. Just IMHO and you are of course welcome to disagree. All I can say is very heavily edited and as I fan I was not offended in the least. Sorry if this is posted elsewhere but I didn't get very far yet. lol

The message boards here are a lot more civilized than on MSN! When I hear songs that Marty sang last year, well.......this years performances pale in comparison! I went out and bought the Pink Floyd cd that had Wishing You Were Here and I liked Marty's version better! He is very special! Some of Dilana's songs give me chills such as Zombie! I guess I am one of the few that loved BBE! I thought it was beautiful and I am purchasing it off of the MSN site! Thanks for making me feel welcome!

Its great to see all the different perspectives on this week's round of RS:SN. I thought this week was one of the best this season. I, like many of you, was shocked that Storm got booted this week. She has grown on me in recent weeks and I have always thought she was an amazing performer with a BIG stage presence. I think someone else should have gone before her. I was blown away by Lukas' version of Bon Jovi's "Livin' On A Prayer", but not so much by his original. (sorry to those of you who loved it) I am not sure about who will win, but I too will be on the edge of my seat! P.S. I posted this elsewhere, but thought other Storm fans here might like to know, Davey N. posted on stormlarge.com that Storm's single "Ladylike" is currently available at cdbaby.com
