Thank you so much for translating, Lithium. I, too, watched the interview wishing I knew Icelandic. I have great tickets for January and look forward to seeing them all!

In a nutshell about the Supernova season in comparison to INXS 2005 ...ALMOST identical conclusions made by the 2 different band's "mates" J.D. Fortune wins over Marty "Pretty Vegas" is born NOTE part of lyrics: "...it ain't pretty...after the SHOW...it ain't pretty when the pretty leaves you WITH NO PLACE TO GO..." this year Lukas wins over Dilana "Be Yourself & 5 other Cliches" is born...NOTE part of lyrics: "here's your Hey hey hey & your Ho Ho Ho...DON'T KNOW WHERE ELSE TO GO "...thought it was interesting, seems someone was lost & groping for lyrics(?), 'specially Supernova...Anyway, that being said, Marty & Dilana were SPARED because they can both stand on their own, with much better talent. Funny, too how last season Dave N - consoled DEANNA Johnston ...another EDGY female rocker...by offering his guitar accompaniment to her & now to DILANA to play on her album this time 'round...DEJA VU?!! or WHAT?!!But I guess iit's true, they know what fits them, J.D. fit INXS, Lukas fits SN... that's all for now... ;D

Concerning Mr. Toby Rand (and his buddy Mr. Lukas Rossi), check this out. From this article: www.news.com.au/entertainment/story/0,23663,20410654-10388,00.html Rand won't have a problem finding a place to live in LA.
Lee has handed the keys to his Malibu mansion to Rossi and Rand to live in while he is touring the US with his old band, Motley Crue, until November 19.
Rand also has a new $US30,000 ($39,885) Honda car he won on the show for his performance of Throw it Away.
"I don't have a US driver's licence yet," he joked.
Supernova will tour the US in January and Rand has agreed to play as a support act on the tour.
A tour of Australia is also being planned by both Supernova and Juke Kartel.
"This guy is going to be giant in Australia and giant in the world," Newsted said of Rand.

Agree with you Kluvsluvhamrs. Here’s your Hey, Hey, Hey! Here’s your Ho, Ho, Ho! Or should I say Ho Hum or Hum Drum? For now I’ll just say No. Now that I think about it, Lucas was a good choice for the band since he can add his tasteful spin to the Hum Drum sound of Supernova or whatever their name is going to be. Headspin may be the only good song on the new CD.

I shall check tomorrow if you can buy his CD´s online somewhere. I cannot find it now. [/quote] I am sorry to tell you that it is not easy for you to order Magni´s CDs. You can do it from this website www.skifan.is but you have to register and the page is in Icelandic. Hopefully they will make it more global in the nearest future. I am really looking forward to his next album (whenever that will be) because his former stuff is mostly in the pop area rather than Rock and the songs are mostly in Icelandic. I want to see/hear him rock like he did on RS SN. If you are going to place an order and you need any help you are welcome to send me PM and I will try to help you.

Josh Logan was a standout to me right from the beginning. First because I liked his style of music, and second because he was so obviously out of place on RS:SN. I downloaded his album (Josh Logan & Nobody's Business) and some of his songs from the show and really enjoy them. If you like funky, soulful rock, then check out Josh's music. Oh, I forgot the third reason --- he's very easy on the eyes. ha.

Lithium - Thanks so much for the translation. In Iceland, are all students required to learn English in school?. I'm impressed with your translation and especially impressed with how well Magni speaks English. He barely has an accent. Then again I grew up with parents that had heavy Hungarian and German accents, so maybe I don't notice it.
Thanks for keeping us informed.

I just signed A Moti Sol's guestbook! Can you tell us what does A Moti Sol mean?

Until Magni attented RS SN he mostly sang in Icelandic but I am sure that will change now. The Icelandairs have been talking a lot about his singing and many are saying that he sings much better in English than in Icelandic. Therefore it will be interesting to see where it will lead him in the future. That's fascinating....thanks for the information! Your English is excellent.

FYI - I believe this is going to get quickly disorganized trying to find rocker information and updates. Feel free to start your own threads for each individual rocker and we'll post updates there. I'll start a new thread in this section for Magni.

Ha ha!!) Anyway, thanks for agreeing, makes me feel good that I'm not alone in the insanity!! You're right, too that Lukas is the best fit to help the sorry writing talent on SN's CD to make it more passable, perhaps??
